About Gary Slawsky
For the past thirty years I have been exploring the many ways photography can be creatively used to record the beauty and interesting qualities of our world. Macro and landscape constitute the largest bodies of my work. Most of all I enjoy bringing out unique interpretations of common objects and scenes that might be missed by casual observation. I really love this, Gary! The shadow's juxtaposition so close to the chair makes for a very interesting, unexpectedly complicated compound figure on the tile patio floor.And it's so neat how the chair's back legs and their shadows come together as a lengthy connector to the main part of the chair's shadow. I've been enjoying this one for at least 10 minutes! l/f/POD of 5/25.
