Description
An colorful autumn leaf treated with a painterly look rests on black drain as a background and is bounded on one side with residual water that creates an abstract pattern in Bryant Park. Bryant Park is a 9 acre park located between 5th and 6th avenues and 40th and 42nd streets in Manhattan, New York City. It was established in 1686 as an open public space by New York’s colonial Gavernor Thomas Dongan. The park received its current name in 1884 to honor New York Evening Post editor William Cullen Bryant. The New Your City Public Library bounds the Park’s eastern edge. Below Bryant Park resides the New York City Public Library’s archives.
