Description
This STOP sign resides in an 1890 railroad gatekeepers house adjacent to a train station. In the days before railroad gate automation a gatekeeper would exit the small house to stop traffic and manually operate gates when trains approached. The grunge on this sign and surrounding walls presents some interesting natural abstracts.

Fine study of fascinating aging, Gary. This is a pod choice for me in the Best of Minimalism group.

Fabulous composition, love the grunge and the rust. L/F, one of my August 14/19 PODs for Best of Minimalism.
