Description
Alta Vista Chapel, also know as Pilgram's Chapel, is located on a mountaintop on the north shore of Aruba in the northwest of the town of Noord. It was built in 1952 on the site of the the first Catholic Church in Aruba constructed in 1750 by Domings Silvertre - a Venezuelan Missionary. Stone pews outside were constructed to accommodate worshipers who could not find seating in the chapel.
