Description
Not long after Superstorm Sandy created havoc along the Navesink River in Red Bank, New Jersey a group of pilings and channel marker standing in a fog create an eerie reminder of the what happened. However, the emptyness left by the storm through lack of activity also provided an opportunity for reflections in the still water that symbolized the beauty that will be created during and after restorition activities.

This image is a minimalistic and serene composition of pilings reflecting in calm, still water. The muted tones and soft focus create a peaceful and almost ethereal atmosphere. The simplicity of the scene highlights symmetry and balance, making it a calming visual experience. This image exemplifies the beauty of simplicity in nature and man-made structures blending harmoniously.
