"Poppyscape Etude II" is a textural impasto palette knife oil painting on canvas, 20 x 20 cm (8 x 8 inches).
This modern impressionist abstract painting captures a burst of colors in the form of an abstract field of poppies. Thick impasto oil paint textures are applied with vivacity, using a diversity of palette knives.
This painting is part of my phantasmagoric landscapes series.
The original painting has been sold to an art collector from Mooresville, NC - United States.
