Before the invention of washing machines the tools used to clean clothes were the wash tub, wash board and wringer to squeeze as much water as possible from wet clothes. Also included in this image are antique irons that were heated on wood burning stoves.
For the past thirty years I have been exploring the many ways photography can be creatively used to record the beauty and interesting qualities of our world. Macro and landscape constitute the largest bodies of my work. Most of all I enjoy bringing out unique interpretations of common objects and scenes that might be missed by casual observation. All images are GMS Photography LLC and cannot be copied, displayed, downloaded modified or distributed without written permission of Gary M Slawsky.
